The little known, far less used, technique

I'm  not sure if any one of you have noticed this yet, but I just got my Hoya R72 filter. What is this, you say? For the sake of keeping it simple, it's IR, or infrared photography.

As you may have seen on my first couple of shots with the filter, you'll notice a lighter circle in the middle, and in the caption of both of those pictures, I explained that I didn't know what it was, and if anyone had any ideas on how to fix it, that they should contact me immediately with a suggestion.

Anywho, I was browsing online, seeing if anyone else had this problem, and what do you know?! I'm not the only one. I guess I'm not that special...

Turns out, it's the lens I'm using that gives me that. I'm going to be getting a new one, soon enough. Any suggestions are welcome, and much appreciated.

Birds, oh my!

So, I'm browsing the internet, here at school, and I came across this site. It's got the coolest birds, but I can't figure what language it's in. I'd also like to know what kind of birds they are, because as you'll probably agree, they're one of the most beautiful species I've seen in quite some time.

Here's the link, if anyone could shed some light on the subject, it'd much appreciated. I think it's polish, but I'm not sure.

So, as a senior, one of the biggest things one has to look forward to is living on your own, and deciding what you want to do with your life. I've wanted to be a professional photographer for quite some time, and it appears that I've finally taken the first step to achieving this goal. I just received word that I'm accepted to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. (The sunshine state, Florida) I can't wait to go...

Ok, I'm back from Hawaii, well, I've been back for a couple days, but you get the drift. Anyway, I'll get some pics up soon enough. Yes, there are a couple sunset pics, and a few flower pics too. Calm down. ;)
